Podium Presentation Guidelines
Paper Presenters
- Time Allocation: Each presenter has a total of 30 minutes, including Q&A. The first 20 minutes will be for presenting followed by 10 minutes for audience questions and comments. Please note if you exceed the 20 minutes, time will be deducted from your Q&A period.
- Slide Legibility: Ensure your slides are easy to read. Use a minimum font size of 30 points and limit each slide to no more than 6 bullet points. For more tips, search online for “rules for presentation slides.”
- Closed Captioning: If possible, add closed captioning to your PowerPoint presentation. Check out this quick instructional video for guidance.
- Presentation Submission: Bring your presentation on a flash drive. A laptop will be available for you to use. Additionally, email your presentation to [email protected] by October 1st as a back up.
- Arrival: Arrive early to upload your presentation to the laptop in your presentation room
- Schedule: Please check the schedule for your presentation time and room assignment once it’s available. Keep an eye on the link for any last-minute changes.
