In Florence, uncover the city’s Roman origins as you wander through its medieval and Renaissance streets, visiting iconic landmarks such as Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo, and the Basilica di Santa Croce.

To commemorate Nightingale’s birth on 12 May, the tour includes a visit to Villa Colombaia, the elegant villa where she was born in 1820. You will also explore La Specola, a remarkable scientific museum home to the world’s largest collection of 18th-century anatomical wax models, and the ornate pharmacy of Santa Maria Novella, one of the oldest pharmacies in the world.
