Nurse Practitioner History Research Scholar Award

The Eleanor Crowder Bjoring Center for Nursing Historical Inquiry at the University of Virginia is pleased to announce that Kim Curry and Carolyn T. Torre have received our Nurse Practitioner History Research Scholar Award. They will do oral histories and videotapes of early nursing policy leaders who made practice legally possible for nurse practitioners.  In examining scope of practice issues, they will begin with New Jersey and plan to include accounts of nurse practitioners from every state.

We look forward to working with them!
