The AAHN Board of Directors schedules two meetings a year with additional Executive Board phone conferences as needed. Business is also conducted by e-mail.
The Board met September 28 in White Plains, NY.
On the agenda was approval of the 2010 AAHN Fall Conference to be held in London. The conference will be held September 15-17, 2010 [midweek] at the Royal Holloway.
Other business: acceptance of resignation of Janet Fickeissen, and steps to procure association management.
There was also discussion about the NINR's exclusion of historical research for funding.
The next Board meeting will be in the Spring of 2008.The Annual Membership Meeting was Sunday September 30, 2007 in White Plains, NY. The bylaws were amended to create a research panel. There is a copy of the bylaws available online.

AAHN Logo
The Association's logo was officially adopted at the 1991 AAHN Conference in San Francisco, CA. The AAHN logo, also called a "cipher," is a decorative interwoven presentation of the first letters in the association's name. The use of ciphers was common during the l8th Century.
Nominations are open for the 2008 elections.
Volunteers are encouraged to apply for committee appointments.
